I’ve always been slightly frustrated by the Facebook Search option. It gives you suggestions as you type which can be helpful but somehow rarely finds what I am looking for.
I was a little surprised to read this week then that the Facebook Search can be a good business tool. Really? Then I discovered the secret. You can filter the searches.
Type in a search as usual, for example I was looking for WordPress, and then click on the “See more results” link right at the bottom. This takes you to a page of results with a new menu on the left hand side. Here you can filter the search on people, groups, apps. etc. Much more powerful.
