Facebook business page tips: Make the most of your pictures

So you have your business Facebook page up and running.  You are getting some likes and you are remembering to update it with lovely new information for your readers every so often.  But are you making the most of your page?

Lots of people will tell you that you need extra tabs and a bespoke landing page which is probably true but not always easy.

However my tip is very easy.  Upload some pictures.  Yep, that’s it.  Well nearly.

Obviously make sure they are pictures that are relevant to your business.  And then – this is the important part – add a description and a link to your website or a relevant blog page.  Type in a relevant description and add a link for your page or relevant blog post.  Then when you save the description the link will become live.

How?

  • Edit Album
  • Add description (which would be for album)
  • Or click on a photo and add your link to individual photos – or better still, do both!
  • You don’t need to do anything clever, just type in a relevant link to your website.  Make sure you put the http bit in though: http://www.freshapproachweb.co.uk/portfolio

Pictures, good pictures, will attract people to click on them.  Don’t miss out by losing the opportunity to give them something else to click when they have admired your picture.
